Volta NSA Director urges sports federations to propose solutions for development

The Volta Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Madam Philipina Frimpong, has urged heads of sports federations in the region to propose solutions that will drive sports development.

Speaking at a meeting with regional federation heads and the leadership of the NSA in Ho, Madam Frimpong stressed the need for federations to move beyond lamenting their challenges and instead provide actionable solutions.

The meeting, which was attended by over 20 federation heads, focused on the NSA’s vision for sports development in the Volta Region. Madam Frimpong outlined key areas that would propel regional growth, which will be presented to the Regional Minister before being made public.

The Planning and Evaluation Officer of the NSA, Mr Dzidodo Ruben Adjahoe, encouraged federation leaders to share their activities and success stories in order to attract support from corporate bodies and other stakeholders.

Federation heads who attended the meeting described it as a progressive step, signalling a renewed effort to foster collaboration and drive sustainable sports development in Volta.
