The Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Mr. Yaw Kwakwa says the Kotoka International Airport ranking as the Best in West Africa in the first quarter of 2019 and 4th in Africa by the Airport Council International, is due to the IT infrastructure put in place to transform the Airport into a Smart airport.
Mr. Yaw Kwakwa was speaking to GBC TV News.
The Aviation Minister, Mr. Kofi Ada said government will soon begin construction on the Takoradi Airport.
