US President Donald Trump says the US is right where it wants to be with China as both sides remained locked in a bruising trade battle.
The US has more than doubled tariffs on 200 billion dollars of Chinese goods, in a sharp escalation of their trade war.
Earlier, Mr. Trump’s top economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, said both sides will suffer from the trade dispute.
But Mr. Trump downplayed the impact of the tariff hike on the US.
