Rights Group, Amnesty International says US air strikes in Somalia have killed civilians in violation of international humanitarian law, an allegation the Washington denies.
In a report, Amnesty said the US last year conducted at least 47 air strikes in Somalia killing 14 people and injuring seven in only five of the strikes.
Though the US Africa Command insists there were no civilian casualties recorded, Amnesty said it has gathered photographic and eyewitness accounts that proves otherwise.
In November 2017, three local farmers were the victims of strikes in which Africom said it only targeted militants.
The rights group concluded that such cases might constitute war crimes and the victims families and communities have no effective means of reporting the incidents.
