President Donald Trump, arrived in Beijing, the capital of China, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 to begin a three-day state visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
This marks President Trump’s second visit to China since November 2017.
Upon arrival he was received by Chinese Vice President, Han Zheng.

During his stay, President Trump is expected to hold talks with President Xi Jinping on Thursday, May 14 2026. The two leaders are expected to engage in indepth discussions on bilateral relations between their countries with the aim of fostering a new era of cooperation and strategic partnership.
According to China’s Foreign Ministry, the discussions will also focus on global peace, stability and development



President Trump is expected to return to the United States on Friday, May 15, 2026.
