US President, Donald Trump, arrived in the capital of China, Beijing, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 to begin a three-day state visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
This is President Donald Trump’s second visit to China since November 2017.
He was met on arrival by Chinese Vice President, Han Zheng.

President Donald Trump is expected to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Xinping on Thursday May 14 where the two leaders will have indepth discussions on bilateral relations with the hope of creating a new paradigm shift.
The talks according to China’s Foreign Ministry will also centre on world peace and development
Trump is expected to return to his home country on Friday, May 15, 2026.
