Accra witnessed a night of music and worship as Katon Praise made its debut in Ghana at GHUD Park, Accra Mall, on Friday, May 1, 2026.

The event, organised by Katon Global, is part of an international worship movement that brings together gospel ministers and audiences across different countries for large-scale praise gatherings centred on faith, music and community.

The Accra edition, held under the theme “See Jesus Glorified”, attracted hundreds of patrons to the venue, with many others participating virtually.

The programme featured a line-up of internationally recognised gospel artistes, including Chandler Moore, Phil Thompson, Moses Bliss, Sinach, Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle and Sonnie Badu.

Opening the night, Bethel Revival Choir set the tone with a choral performance, followed by Joe Mettle, whose ministration drew early engagement from the audience.

Clergy members, including Eastwood Anaba, Kayode Ariyo and Michael Orokpo, delivered sermons during the programme, emphasising faith, spiritual growth and collective worship.

Performances from Team Eternity Ghana, MOG Music and Sunmisola Agbebi added to the lineup, with each act leading sections of the audience in praise.

Phil Thompson and Moses Bliss also delivered live performances, while Sinach led a segment of worship that saw attendees join in singing.

The event concluded with a headline performance by Chandler Moore, bringing the night to a close after several hours of music and preaching.

Katon Global has hosted similar worship gatherings in other countries as part of its broader mission to create platforms for large-scale gospel music experiences and spiritual engagement.

The Accra edition marks its first staging in Ghana, expanding its presence within West Africa.

Organisers say the initiative seeks to unite audiences through music and shared expressions of faith, with future editions expected to build on the Accra experience.
