Minister of Communication, Ursula Owusu Ekuful, has disclosed that about four hundred thousand scam messages are blocked daily by telecommunication companies from reaching targeted phone users in the country.
This is one of many issues such as mobile money fraud and social media scams the Ministry has to deal with in an effort to deal with cybercrimes.
Opening a two-day Conference on Technical Implementation of the Budapest Convention in Accra, the Minister said her outfit is in the process of reviewing Ghana’s cybercrime Security Policy and Strategy to ensure strategic document to guide the country’s cyber security development.
