An  Accra High Court has admitted the remaining accused persons in the Volta secessionists case to a bail of  One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢100, 000) each with two sureties with one to be justified.

The Court was also of the view that, the investigator should be made to know and be satisfied with the physical location of the remaining eight  accused persons before the bail bond is executed.

The court has further directed that, the suspects should report to a nearby police station on every Tuesday and Thursday until further notice.

The bail became necessary following the inability of the state to gather its investigation timely for onward prosecution.

Counsel for the state representing the Attorney General, Fred Awindango failed to oppose to the bail application mooted by the Counsel for the  nine accused persons  but prayed the court that, the bail condition should be such that the accused cannot jump bail. The matter has been adjourned to the first of next month.
