Calm has returned to Kpatinga in the Gushegu District of the Northern Region over an alleged Chieftaincy conflict.
A misunderstanding that ensued last night resulted in a chaotic scene in the Gushegu constituency leading to the burning of houses.
Gunshots were also heard in the area with three persons sustaining gunshot wounds.
Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yusif Tanko in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana said Police and Military personnel have been deployed to the area to ensure security.
