The Agona West Municipal office of the EC has dismissed the Returning Officer of the Swedru Wawase/Nyamedam/ Amponsah Electoral Area, Yaa Esiwa Forson, for gross misconduct.
The officer is said to have ignored procedures, rules and regulations governing the mounting of platforms for Aspiring Assembly members as stipulated in the EC’s guidelines on District Level Elections.
The Agona West Municipal Director of the EC Anobil Forson confirmed the dismissal in an interview.
