A Veteran Journalist and Expert in Communication, Professor Essilfie-Conduah has bemoaned the incessant attacks on journalists in the country, saying the attacks are becoming one too many.

He asked the National Media Commission (NMC) to come to the aid of journalists to ensure they practice under a secured environment.

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Prof. Essilfie-Conduah said he wants the media to boycott some public activities to send a strong signal to authorities about the impunity against media freedom in the country.

Prof. Conduah disagreed with a section of the public advocating that affected journalists should pursue attack cases in the law courts. He said affected journalists could seek refuge at the National Media Commission.
