Government says its immediate focus going forward is to win the fight against COVID-19 and implementing a robust economic recovery program to return the country to normalcy.
This came to light after a three-day retreat with the newly sworn in ministers who are expected to begin full operations today.
Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at a media briefing at Peduase in the Eastern region said the President at the retreat issued policy directions for his second term which will see to the implementation of the second part of his transformation agenda.
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo will at 1pm today give the State of the Nation Address,while Budget reading will be done by the Leader of Government Business, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu on Friday, the 12th of this month.
