The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, says government has decided to digitise the distribution of Premix fuel to fishermen across the country to stop smuggling of the product.
Speaking at the 2019 Ghana International Petroleum Conference, Dr. Bawumia said, government loses a lot of revenue to the smuggling of Premix fuel, thus, government has decided to register the various boats along the coast to ensure the subsidies get to the intended fishermen.
