Queen mother of Dwenase in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region, Nana Anima Ahwenepa, has cautioned girls against premarital sex, urging them to preserve their virginity for marriage.
She said promiscuous lifestyle exposes girls to evil spirits that cause marital problems.
Interacting with journalists during a community forum she organized for indigenes at Dwenase near Bomaa, she emphasized that sexual intercourse is only preserved for spouses.
Nana Ahwenepa who is also the Executive Director of Naky Foundation which focuses on improving the well being of vulnerable people in society expressed regret that acts of immorality among girls nowadays are not only worrying but a disgrace to womanhood.
Nana Anima Ahwenepa also took advantage of the month of love to sensitize the community on teenage pregnancy and COVID-19.
