The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Attah, says he will constitute a technical team by next week to audit all toll booths in the country. He said it is unacceptable for motorists to be subjected to harsh conditions and spend undue hours in traffic before they pay the tolls.
Mr Amoako-Attah said this after witnessing the mechanical manner in which the Ayi Mensah- Dodowa toll booth operates after he paid a working visit to some ongoing project sites in Accra.
He said after the auditing, some toll booths will be relocated with others closed down.
