The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reviewed COVID-19 isolation procedures for international arrivals at the Kotoka International Airport.

Persons who are found to have contracted covid-19 after assessment by the port health unit of the Ghana Health Service will be allowed to undergo isolation in their homes.

Those who will be placed under isolation in their homes will be subjected to strict monitoring to ensure compliance of the protocols.

A statement by the Service said that the review has become necessary following a trend of positive cases of COVID-19 among vaccinated and asymptomatic persons.
