AGRF to launch report on digitising Agric sector

The African Green Revolution Forum, AGRF will today launch its Annual Agricultural Status Report.

The report looks at the Digitisation of the sector, which is the main focus of AGRF’s 10th Anniversary. It will look at the current state of digitisation across the continent, the number of enterprises involved, the impact and prospects of digital innovation in agriculture, especially for the youth.

At a news briefing ahead of the launch, President of the Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation, CTA, Michael Hailu noted that 200 million farmers are expected to register for different digital services by the year 2030.
