Early seed generation production Research Institute, a Savannah Agriculture Institute has asked Government to stop the Seed Tendering process because it is not in the interest of Ghanaian Seed Producers.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, a Research Scientist and Deputy Director of the Institute, Dr. Roger Kanton, said the amount of money involved in the Tendering process is also too huge and has the tendency to dislocate technocrats and farmers who deal in seed production and sale.
Dr. Kanton said politicians have no business in the seed production industry.
