 CODEO defends Ayawaso by-election report

The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers, CODEO, has defended its report on the Ayawaso West Wuogon by- election.

The report which focused on the violence that marred the by- election was rejected by the EC Chairperson, who described it as narrow.

Speaking at the Commission of Enquiry probing the Ayawaso by- election, Co-Chairperson of CODEO, Professor Miranda Greenstreet said CODEO’s personnel are experienced and highly trained.

She said her organisation will continue to observe elections and give recommendations where necessary to improve Ghana’s electoral process.
