The EC has refuted claims by the NDC, that the Commission failed to provide Ballot Statistics required for Party Agents to check and verify the quantity of ballot papers being printed.

Campaign Manager of the NDC, Prof. Joshua Alabi, alleges that more than 150,000 excess ballot papers, have been printed on the blind side of Party Agents.

Reacting to this, Acting Director of Public Affairs of the EC, Sylvia Annoh, said all ballot papers, have serial numbers which Party Agents present, verify while printing is done.

She told Nathaniel Nartey, that the EC is not doing anything wrong and advised the NDC to use the appropriate means to channel their grievances.

The NPP has questioned the basis for the calculation used by the NDC in arriving at the conclusion that the EC printed 150,000 more ballot papers.

The party also questioned the authenticity of figures put out by the NDC in its allegation against the EC.  Director of Research and Elections of the NPP, Evans Nimako says the party has agents monitoring the printing of ballot papers at all centers and will inform the public when issues arise.
