Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia on Wednesday led a government delegation to attend the funeral of the late Member of the Council of State, Ambassador Sahanun Mogtari in Wa.
The Late Ambassador Mogtari who was a former Upper West Regional Minister passed on at the Regional Hospital in Wa on Monday, and and was laid to rest on Tuesday at a mausoleum near the Jubilee Park in keeping with Islamic practices.
GBC’s Emmanuel Mensah-Abludo reports that people from all walks of life were at the funeral to honour the memory of Ambassador Sahanun Mogtari who was an affable fellow.
