Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Pastor Johnson Avuletey, says the Region is getting ready for the new Voter Registration exercise.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Pastor Avuletey said as a result of misinformation going on in the Region about the proposed exercise, he has taken it upon himself to educate the people to get ready if the EC opens the register.
Pastor Avuletey cautioned non Ghanaians especially those from Togo not to attempt to register if the exercise starts.
He said, however, Ghanaians resident in Togo are allowed to register but would be thoroughly screened to establish their identity.
