AFCON Qualifier: Black Stars to depart Ghana for Sudan on Sunday

After a 2-0 victory over the Falcons of Jediane in matchday three (3) of the ongoing AFCON qualifiers, 2021 at the cape coast sports stadium on Thursday, November 12, the technical team and the playing body are expected to fly out to Sudan on Sunday, November 15, at midday.

The four and half hour journey is expected to end at the Khartoum international airport at 16:30 GMT 4:30 p.m. local time. The team is likely to have floodlight training session shortly after arrival before fine-tuning the final preparation on Monday before kick on Tuesday afternoon.

The win in the central regional capital Cape Coast took Ghana to nine (9) points from three (3) games after victories over South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe back in November 2019.

Strikers/Forwards: Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Tariqe Fosu, Samuel Owusu, Caleb Ekuban, John Antwi.

Sudan will host Ghana on Tuesday, November 17, in a matchday three tie at Omdurman City of Khartoum State, the match is scheduled for 13:00 GMT kick off 1 p.m. local time.
