The Lands Commission has admitted that some of its officials are corrupt.

This follows accusations by the Chief of Pantang, Nii Otuboa, who alleged that some personnel of the Commission assist corrupt individuals to steal lands from their rightful owners by forging signatures and using fake stamps.

This came up at a round table to address challenges in property registration where it emerged that less than 10 percent of Lands in Accra are undocumented while more than 80 percent of all court disputes in the country are land litigation cases.
