The Odawna market which was razed by fire last week is still closed despite assurances that it will be opened to the public today.
The market was temporarily shut down last week after about 80 shops were razed down by fire last Wednesday.
Some traders lamented that the closure of the market will worsen their situation as they do not have other alternative source of livelihood.
The AMA said the market will be opened today however a visit by the GBC to the place saw Nadmo officials with the leaders of the market still assessing the damage to the market.
According to the officials, the market will remain closed while an alternative place is made available for the traders.
