A Marketing Manager at Promasidor Ghana, Patrick Osei Oware, popularly known as Pomo, has died in a tragic road accident at Suhyin on the Koforidua–Tafo Highway.

The incident occurred on Saturday, May 2, 2026, near Koforidua.

According to eyewitness accounts, Mr Osei Oware was driving towards Koforidua when a Hyundai H400, which was attempting to overtake a motorcycle, veered into his lane.

In a bid to avoid a head-on collision, he reportedly swerved off the road. His vehicle subsequently crashed into a tree, leading to his instant death.

Mr Osei Oware was widely respected in Ghana’s business and marketing circles. At the time of his passing, he oversaw key operational regions for the company, including the Eastern, Ashanti, Volta and Greater Accra regions.

His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the corporate community, with many expected to pay tribute to his contributions in the coming days.
