Mr. Annoh-Dompreh gave the warning at a press conference in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital to brief the media on security issues in the region.
The Eastern Regional Security Liaison Officer, Mr. Francis Annoh-Dompreh said activities of some chiefs in the region are undermining the security adding that some chiefs even defy the orders of the court and the directives of the District, Municipal and Regional Security Council.
The Regional Security Liaison Officer revealed that the security is not interested in any chieftaincy issue or who becomes a chief in a particular area, however, if the processes involved in selecting someone undermines the peace and security of that area then the security will have to intervene to maintain peace, law and order.
