Another possible solution to Ghana’s plastic waste menace could have been found as a Savannah Region based Entrepreneur, Yelbeyira Justin Kantawura has developed a mechanism to extract various fuels from plastic waste.
Speaking to GBC during a demonstration of the technology at Banda Nkwanta in the Savannah Region, he said the main hurdles that have to be cleared to make the system workable on a large scale is support and a cheap source of energy as heat generation is a key part of the process.
