The flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama has assured the people of the Eastern region that the party always prioritises development because that is a sure way of opening up the country and ensuring job creation for the unemployed youth.

He noted that the NDC is the only party that has the welfare of the people at heart, and therefore will do its best to bring development to the area.

Mr. Mahama was speaking at separate durbars at Klo Agogo, Sekesua, Akateng and Asesewa all in the Upper Manya Krobo district of the Eastern Region.

He observed that projects that were being undertaken before he left office have been abandoned indicating that the NPP government does not have the interest of the electorate at heart.

He therefore asked the people to bring the NDC back to power to continue with its development projects and programmes. The people of the various communities pledged their unflinching support for Mr. Mahama and promised to give him an over whelming victory come December 7.

He later addressed hundreds of party supporters gathered at the Prison’s park.
