Some of the most popular social media websites include Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Others are wechat, whatsapp, facebook messenger, Telegram, viber, snapchat, youtube, pinterest, linkedin and many more. These social media platforms have over 100 million registered users which means more exposure. Now the question is how do you protect your information on social media? Privacy and security settings exist for a reason. Make good use of it. Learn how to use it to protect your information. They are invented to help you control who sees what you post and manage your online presence in a positive way. Once you posted it online, it stays online. Therefore before you share a piece of information online think twice and ask yourself how it can affect you in the future.
