The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has celebrated his wife and First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo on her 69th birthday.
Sending a heartwarming birthday message to his wife, President Akufo-Addo on Thursday, March 12, posted on Twitter: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful Rebecca. Love Always.”

Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo was born on March 12, 1951.
She became the First Lady after her husband, Nana Addo won the December 7 election in 2016.
They have been married for 22 years and have five daughters and five grandchildren.
The First Lady founded the Rebecca Akufo-Addo foundation, a non-governmental organisation to enhance efforts of government amongst Ghanaian women and children.
She has also built and commissioned a new Pediatric and Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in 2019.
