Ghanaian Artiste Kelvyn Boy has escaped what could have been a very tragic accident after a driver lost control of a vehicle and nearly ran into him at the back of Center Point Mall. The incident happened few days ago and left the singer with a fractured ankle.
Sharing the experience in a Facebook post, Kelvyn Boy expressed gratitude to God for saving his life and thanked his team members who acted quickly to prevent a worse outcome.
“A few days ago, God saved me from what would have been the most tragic news all year for me and my people,” he wrote. “A driver reversing lost control heading for me at the sidewalk of the very back of Center Point Mall, God saved me through 2 of my guys who saw it fast and reacted quick enough but the accident left me with a fractured ankle. Give thanks for life still ”.
The musician also apologized to promoters and fans after missing some scheduled shows due to the incident. He assured them that efforts are being made to reschedule the affected events.
“To promoters, who’s shows I’ve missed, my sincerest apologies to you and most importantly the fans. Kindly coordinate with management to fix new dates,” he stated.
Despite the injury, Kelvyn Boy remains determined to perform at upcoming shows before the end of the year, even if it means appearing on stage with crutches.
“And to the few ones ahead before end of year. I’m racing against time, I’ll be there (with Crutches if need be) to rave. Nothings gon stop us now!” he added.
He ended his message by encouraging the public to value life and stay safe at all times.
“Stay safe, always be thankful for life ”.
Fans and fellow musicians on social media have shared messages of support and well wishes, thanking God for his life and wishing him a speedy recovery.
