Movie Star Idris Elba, will this evening host a star-studded virtual concert to mark Africa Day and raise funds to feed the continent’s hungry.
The concert will host the continent’s top music stars including Angelique kidjo, Burna Boy, Salif Keita, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Sauti Sol.
It will be streamed via YouTube and ViacomCBS Networks. Idris Elba told the BBC that at the moment hunger is the main fear as opposed to COVID-19.
Idris whose late father grew in Sierra Leone and mother from Ghana, tested positive for the virus in March, and has since recovered.
