Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, has announced the death of his mother, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.
The artist shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, 6 March 2025, posting a heartfelt tribute alongside a photo of them together.
In his message, Mr Eazi expressed gratitude for her love, strength, and sacrifices, describing her as his “greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan.”
“Thank you, Mummy, for your strength, your sacrifices, your unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God,” he wrote.
He also acknowledged her significant influence on his life, crediting her for instilling values such as confidence, entrepreneurship, and the importance of family.
Mr Eazi concluded his tribute by honouring her legacy and bidding her farewell.
