The Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA), says in the quest to be consistent and become a one-stop house for shipping information, the Authority will soon launch the ShippersApp.
Speaking at a sensitisation seminar organised for journalists in Accra today (September 4), at the Ghana Shippers’ House, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority, Benonita Bismarck said the move to launch the new App is to make shipping information readily available to anyone in any part of the world.
The ShippersApp, according to Madam Benonita Bismarck is loaded with information on charges in the ports, vessel arrivals, maritime statistics, industry news, contacts and locations of shipping lines and agencies.
The Mobile App will also have a platform for shipper enquiries and complaints among others.
She called on shippers, shipping service providers and the general public to download the ShippersApp via App Store or Google store when launched.
