All is set for the performance of the funeral of the late Yaa Naa Mahamadu Abdulai.
Construction at the old Gbewaa Palace is ongoing ahead of the beginning of the funeral scheduled for December 14th to 28th.
Security has been tightened in the Yendi municipality.
Meanwhile, calm has been restored to the Bole Township and its environs in the Bole District of the Northern Region, following a bloody clash in the area Monday.
The Minister for the Interior imposed a 6:00pm to 6:00am curfew. It has also banned residents from carrying ammunition or offensive weapons with a threat of prosecution if they fail to adhere to the order.
