The Minister for Transport, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah says that no compensation will be paid to encroachers of the Sunyani Airport lands when the need comes for the ministry to demolish buildings within the Peripheries of the facility.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the project at the Airport, the Minister expressed worry over the level of encroachment saying it has greatly affected development there.
He said to forestall flying path interferences and secure space for future expansions, it has become necessary to demolish buildings within the Airport zone.
