The Tema Traditional Council is protesting against the illegal sale of stool lands by some unauthorised persons with the backing of some Police Officials.
According to the Council, the over 400 plots of land at Klagon, was acquired by the government some years ago for the construction of a port.
However, after the failure of the project, the lands were not returned to the Stool but rather left to some individuals who are selling it for personal gains.
The Traditional Council raised the concern when the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo presented some items to the Council for the celebration of Homowo which takes place Friday, August 7.
