Two persons have been shot dead with 5 others injured in a shooting incident at Mankessim in the Central region.
The incident which involved a police officer occurred when the installation of a queen mother turned violent.
Four of the injured are on admission while the Police Officer, Inspector William Nyarko has been transfered to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
He is said to be responding to treatment.The Central Regional Police PRO, DSP Irene Oppong confirming the incident to Radio Ghana, said the Police Service has deployed personnel to the area to maintain calm and order.
