The Government of Ghana has sought assistance from the United States of America in investigating the August 6 helicopter crash.
Minister for Foreign Affairs and member of the Ghana Armed Forces Council, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, confirmed this to GBC News after signing the Book of Condolence at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Ablakwa said the Ghana Armed Forces are following due protocols to hand over the aircraft’s black box to its Chinese manufacturers, who are on standby to help determine the circumstances that led to the crash of the Z-9 helicopter.
