Education Minister to adopt Electric Bike Innovator, Samuel Aboagye

The Minister for Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has explained the need for Ghanaians to rally behind the President and support his current Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) initiative to be introduced soon. On GBC’s breakfast show on January 13, 2022, Dr. Adutwum said, ”STEM education will enable students to acquire critical and independent thinking skills to enable them to adapt to current developmental trends.

It is in the light of this that the Minister of Education has commended
Samuel Aboagye is a JHS graduate who desires to continue his research and inspire greater interest in STEM. The young inventor is paving the way for future creators.


For his teachers, there’s plenty to be done to help students become inspired and use STEM principles to change the world.

A teacher, David Sam Hagan confirmed that the Minister of Education has decided to adopt Samuel Aboagye He has so far invented a number of items from recycled materials. His claim to fame is this solar cum electric powered scooter built with wood.
