A Ghanaian resident in the Federal Republic of Germany, Brown Yahaya, has donated a bale of assorted secondhand clothing and footwares to Bahass Mental Home and Rehabilitation Centre in Wa.
The donation was coordinated by the Hikima Foundation as part of its humanitarian services.
A Senior broadcast journalist at GBC Wa and Secretary of Hikma Foundation, Seidu Ibrahim Bomanjo, presented the package to the management of Bahass Mental Home and Rehabilitation Centre.
Mr Bomanjo stressed the necessity for public-spirited individuals and organisations to reach out to the less fortunate in society, adding that the Bahass Foundation is doing a yeoman’s job and it should be supported to continue the good work.

He admonished the public not to stigmatise those with mental health issues.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bahass Foundation, Baba Iliasu Yussifu, who received items, was extremely thankful to Mr Brown Yahaya and his associates in Germany, as well as the management of Hikma Foundation, for the donation and entreated others to emulate the example.

Mr Yussifu also asked that Bahass Mental Home and Rehabilitation Centre should be supported with food and mattresses which he described as major challenges of the Centre.
