The Minister of Energy and Green Transition and Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu, John Abdulai Jinapor, has donated GH¢50,000 to Yapei United Football Club to enhance the team’s operations and promote sports development in the constituency.
The donation, according to Mr. Jinapor, is part of his broader commitment to empowering the youth and using sports as a tool for unity, discipline, and community growth.
“Sports have the power to unite our people and inspire our young ones to aim higher. I believe Yapei United can go far with the right support and discipline,” Mr. Jinapor said during the presentation.
Officials of Yapei United and members of the Yapei Kusawgu community expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Minister’s continued support, describing the gesture as a timely boost to the club’s ambitions.
This latest support adds to several initiatives led by John Abdulai Jinapor to improve education, sports, and livelihoods across the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency.
