The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) continues to benefit from the depth of expertise within its ranks, as Show Director Perry Tettey Kofi Nartey exemplifies the growing blend of academic distinction and professional excellence in public broadcasting.
With more than two decades of experience in media and public service, Perry has contributed significantly to national broadcasting, particularly as a member of the Presidential and Parliamentary Outside Broadcast (OB) Corps since 2006. His role has placed him at the forefront of covering major state functions and high-level national events.
His professional journey at GBC is strengthened by a strong academic foundation. He holds three master’s degrees, including an LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL), as well as an MA in Journalism and Mass Communication. He also pursued postgraduate studies in migration as a scholarship awardee.
Currently a PhD candidate in leadership and management at SALT University College, Perry continues to advance his knowledge in governance and institutional development — expertise that aligns closely with leadership in public media.
A two-time international scholarship recipient, he further expanded his academic exposure through advanced studies at the University of Continuing Education in Krems, Austria.
Beyond his broadcasting duties, Perry contributes to knowledge-sharing as an adjunct faculty member and visiting lecturer. His leadership background also includes service as a former SRC President and national student leader, as well as participation in Presidential and National Enquiry Committees.
As a proud son of Gadangbe (Prampram), his career reflects a sustained commitment to discipline, education and service — values that continue to shape his contribution to Ghana’s public broadcasting landscape.
