A Sports Presenter with URA Radio, a network of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, GBC at Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional Capital Cletus Aduko was adjudged the Best Sports Show Host in the Five Star Channel Awards for this year.
He was honoured at an event in Accra.
Mr. Aduko was presented with a plaque for himself and another for his Station, GBC URA Radio.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Aduko dedicated the awards to listeners of the station and promised to give his fans the best in the world of sports.
”Well, this award means a lot to me, it will boost my CV as I am working to become a Sports Journalist, it will also encourage me to keep working hard on radio and finally I will have to keep working to remain at the top.”
URA Radio is a public radio station in Bolgatanga, the capital town of the Upper East Region of Ghana. The station is owned and run by the state broadcaster – the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. Frequency is 89.5MHz.
