Ghana in talks with France to boost intelligence sharing- Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has emphasised the need for stronger international cooperation in the fight against terrorism, revealing that Ghana is in talks with France to enhance intelligence sharing.

He welcomed support from countries that share similar security objectives.

Speaking during a dialogue at the Jubilee House on Monday, President Mahama highlighted the growing threat of terrorism in parts of Africa, particularly in Central Africa and Mozambique.

He stressed the importance of safeguarding the continent through strengthened security cooperation, economic development, and regional stability.

The President also assured Ghanaians of President Emmanuel Macron’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s development agenda.
