The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana, has supported the people of Kpeyiborkope ,a community in the Ketu North Municipality,with sand and chippings worth GH₵50,000 to start a new project aimed at improving education in the area.
The project includes a KG block and a six-unit washroom facility. When completed, it is expected to make learning easier and safer for children. The main funding is coming from Pencils of Promise, a nonprofit group known for providing strong educational facilities across Ghana.
A short ceremony was held to break ground for the project, which is expected to be completed within three months.The team from Pencils of promise l who were present at the ceremony received the donation .
Mr. Agbana explained that the donation was important because it was required that the community provided labor to support the project.
“To help the community meet its required counterpart obligation, I donated Sand and chippings worth 50,000 Ghana Cedis to enable the project commence in earnest”he said.
He also stressed his dedication to supporting development despite financial challenges.
“ As I have always maintained, I may be limited by funds, but I am relentless in my pursuit of progress for our people” he added.
The MP thanked Pencils of Promise for responding to the community’s request and said he is ready to partner with anyone willing to support development in Ketu North.
“We remain committed to partnering with any individual or organization willing to support our development agenda” he stated.
