President John Dramani Mahama, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, has departed Dubai in the United Arab Emirates for a three-day State Visit to Lusaka, Zambia.
The President and First Lady will be received at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport by the President of the Republic of Zambia, H.E. Hakainde Hichilema, and his wife.
The visit underscores President Mahama’s commitment to his vision of an Africa that is seamlessly connected through enhanced transport infrastructure, expanded trade links, and the free movement of people and goods.
Later today, President Mahama is scheduled to meet with members of the Ghanaian community in Lusaka. On Thursday, he will hold bilateral talks with President Hakainde Hichilema, focusing on strengthening Ghana–Zambia relations and broader regional cooperation.
A key highlight of the State Visit will be an address to the National Assembly of Zambia, where President Mahama will outline Ghana’s vision for a more integrated, cooperative, and prosperous Africa.
