Agyapa deal to be taken back to Parliament in second quarter of 2021

A former Deputy Minister of Finance, Charles Adu Boahen has disclosed that the Agyapa deal will be taken back to Parliament in the second quarter of this year.

Delivering the State of the Nation Address, President Akufo-Addo said government will return to Parliament to engage the House on the steps it intends to take on the controversial Agyapa deal.

Mr. Adu Boahen said the anomalies in the deal have been worked on to ensure a smooth take off.

He made this known after the presentation of the Budget Statement for the 2021 Fiscal Year to Parliament.
